So we run photo-quality process color where color is the point, and bold spot color on kraft where rustic is the point, rather than doing whichever is cheaper and calling it a house style. Most plate printers sell one stock and bend every job to fit it. Ask for a photo print and you get muddy color on uncoated board; ask for an eco option and you get greenwashing on regular paper.
